A summary of everything new in laiout this month. New zone types, expanded 3D camera options, AI Render Select & Edit, furniture placement on outdoor spaces, and a new way to show or hide elements in the editor.
New features
Event Space Zones - Plan dedicated event spaces
Event Space is now a native zone type with its own properties and constraints, ideal for planning auditoriums, town halls, and large gathering areas.
Pod Area Zones - Add calling pods and booths
Calling pods are now a proper zone type, separate from meeting rooms, with their own icon and colour. Reflects how modern offices actually use small private spaces.
Orthographic and Axonometric Views - New 3D camera angles
New camera options in the 3D viewer for orthographic and axonometric projections, useful for technical presentations and architectural reviews.
2-Point Perspective - New architectural camera view
Added 2-point perspective as a new camera setting in the 3D viewer for more architectural-style visualisations.
Select & Edit - Refine any part of a render
Tweak a selected area of an AI Render to refine specific parts of the image without regenerating the entire render. Faster iteration on the details that matter.
Furniture on Balconies and Terraces - Place furniture outdoors
Place furniture on external balcony and terrace zones, previously only supported indoors. Opens up planning for outdoor workspaces and breakout areas.
Show or Hide Elements - Control what appears in the editor
Control exactly which elements are visible in the frontend, helping you focus on what matters for the task at hand.
