How do I create a Live Listing?

There is no separate code to generate. Any Shared Link you create through the export view also works as a Live Listing. Copy the Shared Link URL and use it as the source in your webpage's iframe. See Shared Links for how to create a Shared Link.

What format do Live Listings use?

Live Listings use a standard HTML iframe. Paste the Shared Link URL as the src attribute of an iframe on your webpage and your live floor plan will appear within your site.

Are there recommended sizing or aspect ratio guidelines for a Live Listing?

There are no fixed size or aspect ratio requirements. Your Live Listing automatically adapts to fit the dimensions of the iframe you place it in, so you have complete flexibility to size it however works best for your page.

Does a Live Listing require any additional permissions or a specific type of shared link?

Any Shared Link can be used as a Live Listing without additional setup or permissions. If the link works as a Shared Link, it works as a Live Listing.

If the underlying plan is updated, does the Live Listing reflect the update live?

Yes. Any changes you make to the plan in laiout are reflected in the Live Listing automatically, so your webpage always shows the latest version of your floor plan without needing to update it.

Where can I place a Live Listing?

Live Listings work across popular website platforms including Webflow, WordPress, custom-built sites, and internal portals. laiout is designed to work anywhere that supports standard HTML iframes.

Can I hide or show specific elements in a Live Listing?

Yes. Element visibility, including branding, navigation, and other interface elements, is configured when you create the Shared Link within the export view in laiout. Once set, the Live Listing reflects your preferences automatically.
