What browsers does laiout support?

laiout is a browser-based platform and works on all modern web browsers. Chrome is recommended for the best experience. No software installation is required.

Is my data secure on laiout?

laiout takes data security seriously. The platform uses encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) and your floor plan data is stored securely. Access is controlled through user roles and permissions at the organisation level, and shared links can have expiry dates. For detailed security information, please contact the laiout team.

Can I use laiout on mobile or tablet?

laiout is designed for desktop and laptop use, where the full design interface works best. While the shared link viewer is accessible on tablets and mobile devices for reviewing layouts, the full design and editing experience is optimised for larger screens. You can even access laiout on a phone.

laiout releases product updates and new features on a regular basis. Recent additions include AI Renders, laiout Flow and Final Design. Updates are applied automatically with no action required from you.

Fire safety regulations are currently supported for the UK, UAE, China, Germany, USA and Singapore, with more being added regularly.

How accurate are the generated layouts?

laiout generates regulation-aware layouts that account for corridor widths, clearances, fire exit distances and density standards. The output is a credible, professional-grade first draft suitable for early-stage feasibility, leasing discussions and stakeholder presentations. For detailed design development, layouts can be exported to CAD or Revit for refinement by a designer or architect.
